Family Cow Farmstand is a raw milk micro-dairy in Hinesburg. We produce high quality raw milk from grass fed cows. Rural Vermont presents
BUTTER, YOGURT, & MOZZARELLA/RICOTTA
with Lindsay Harris
Sunday, June 14th AND Sunday, July 12th / 1 - 4 pm
Family Cow Farmstand, Hinesburg / $20-40 sliding scale
Learn how to make easy and delicious goodies from RAW MILK in your own kitchen! All participants will take home food samples and a recipe packet. Tour the farm and meet the cows providing the milk for these fantastic products. For those who are interested, there will be an opportunity to stay later and watch Lindsay milk.
Lindsay Harris has a small, diversified, grass-based farm in Hinesburg with her partner, Evan Reiss. They currently milk five cows, raise pork, beef and eggs and are training a pair of working steers. Lindsay is on Rural Vermont’s board of directors, and has been very involved in the Raw Milk Campaign.
Pre-registration is required, and class size is limited.
